Baltimore’s Team Slammageddon wins the 2016 National Poetry Slam!

From August 2 – 6, 2016, hundreds of poets from all over North America converged for the 27th Annual National Poetry Slam in Decatur Georgia.  With 72 different teams representing their cities, the National Poetry Slam is the world’s largest performance poetry competition.  After scoring well in preliminary bouts and winning their semi-finals bout, Team Slammageddon went on to Finals along with San Diego Slam, Boston’s House Slam, and Austin’s NeoSoul Slam teams to become the newly crowned National Poetry Slam Champions!
